The week that was: Covid-hit stocks rise, diagnostics co shares fall on vaccine hopes

The BSE Sensex gained 1,744.92 points or 4.17 per cent for the week to 43,637.98 while Nifty gained 516.70 points or 4.21 per cent during the week to 12,780.25. Many of the Covid-hit stocks rallied after Pfizer claimed its Covid vaccine is 90 per cent effective in Phase 3 trial. A couple of stocks also gained on solid Q2 earnings. Here are a few stocks that buzzed the most during the week.
