FDI equity inflows contract 22% in FY23

India's foreign direct equity investments during fiscal year 2022-23 were $46.03 billion, down 21.67% from the previous year, according to the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. In the January-March quarter, inflows were $9.28 billion, or 41% lower than the corresponding period previously.
